  • The Thaipusam celebration is the World’s Biggest and Holiest Religious Celebration where millions of Hindhu Devotees and Believers around the Globe celebrate annually in the month of Thai, signifying a commemorative day for Lord Muruga. The celebration in Malaysia is both grandeur and colourful throughout the 3-or-4-day religious and cultural events. Unfortunately, it is saddening and unacceptable, while the community which is believed to observe Understanding and Respect of multiracial beliefs, still till this modern days of wisdom, a few non-Indians whom I would label as ‘ruffians’ and ‘morons’ have tremendously ‘polluted’ the peace of the celebration. Here, in Sungai Petani, some non-Indian traders either legally or illegally were seen selling their China made ‘plastic trumpets’ outside the Holy Temple disrespectfully. I assume that these such people and the authorities who permitted them for such trading as ‘some morons with shalow knowlegde in religion’. What a shame if no one is aware of this? The Temple, the Local Authority, the Kedah State Government and the Indian Community should take stern action against these ‘Morons’ immediately!!!!
